  Using the Explorer Bus was the highlight of our family holiday in Katoomba. The 6 of us (2 from each generation) had a great time getting to know all the drivers, who were all SO helpful and friendly.
  We all enjoy walking, and to be able to take the bus, get off, and hike to another pick-up spot was a great bonus. The every half-hour frequency removed a lot of the pressure. The guide book (that forms your ticket) was unusually helpful, and, if you're here for a week, you could almost get your ticket price back with the discounts ot gives.
